Ebel was first established in 1911, in La-Chaux-de-Fonds, Switzerland. They made their first wristwatch in 1912 and during the first world war the Royal Air Force (British Army) utilized their watches. Ebel has created many recognisable watches, probably the most popular is the Wave collection which was first released in 1977 and has been going strong ever since.
