But this year, they've struck a balance between honouring their heritage and embracing creativity, and it's turning heads. Take the Land-Dweller, for instance. It's not just another addition to the lineup; it's a statement. With its integrated bracelet and angular case design, it nods to the vintage Oysterquartz models of the '70s but brings something entirely new to the table.

So, why these releases now? Rolex seems to be reading the room. After a period of shifting collector interests, they're offering timepieces that resonate with both traditional enthusiasts and a new generation of watch lovers. It's about evolution, not revolution, staying true to their roots while subtly redefining what a Rolex can be.

1. Oyster Perpetual Land-Dweller

Rolex introduces a new chapter in its legacy with the new Oyster Perpetual Land-Dweller. This timepiece marks a bold move for Rolex, a brand known for its conservatism. Unlike the brand’s usual updates, which typically involve subtle changes to dial colours or case sizes, the Land-Dweller introduces a new collection boasting 32 patents, a rare move for Rolex.

The new model is being offered in platinum, rose gold, and “white roselor,” a combination of steel and white gold. Available in 36 mm and 40 mm, it features a fresh new metal bracelet and a reworked Oyster case. The subtle bevels along the bracelet’s outer links mirror those on the case, with polished chamfers that catch the light like a smooth, continuous ribbon. The bezel, offered in a classic fluted style or set with diamonds, surrounds a detailed dial with a bold honeycomb pattern.

2. GMT Master II in White Gold

The Rolex GMT model turns 70 this year, and with that, Rolex has introduced two new versions of this model.

First up is an even bolder, more colourful twist on the green-and-black “Sprite” that debuted in 2022. The brand new Oyster Perpetual GMT-Master II comes in 18ct white gold with a green ceramic dial and an Oyster bracelet. This watch also swaps out the previous iteration’s black dial for a bright green one. This watch is reminiscent of the popular green-on-green Submariner reference 116610LV, better known as the “Hulk.”

A standout feature of this watch is the 24-hour hand, which displays the “home” time in your primary time zone using the bezel’s 24-hour scale. Adjusting the local time is just as easy thanks to a smart mechanism controlled by the winding crown; the hour hand can be moved forward or backwards in one-hour steps without affecting the minute or seconds hands. This makes switching time zones quick and easy for travellers.

3. GMT Master II in Everose Gold

The second version of this model is a new spin on the root beer design with a black-and-brown dial. This new watch features a dial made from Tiger Iron, a natural stone composed of Tiger’s Eye, red jasper, and hematite. This unique material gives the dial a rich, hybrid appearance with a warm, autumnal palette. Among the latest releases, this edition stands out, especially with its black-and-brown “Root Beer” bezel, which pairs beautifully with the dial’s earthy tones. 4. A New Bracelet for the Perpetual 1908

The Perpetual 1908 is Rolex’s interpretation of a classy men’s dress watch, and this year, it’s getting a brand new bracelet made from 18ct yellow gold.

Rolex has said that the new seven-link ‘Settimo’ bracelet designed exclusively for the 1908 is a nod to “the jewellery-inspired bracelets that graced some elegant vintage watches.”

This new bracelet reflects light beautifully across its curved surfaces, and at the end of the bracelet is Rolex’s concealed Crownclasp, widely regarded as the most discreet clasp in the brand’s lineup for a classic and elegant finish.

5. New Dials for The Rolex Oyster Perpetual

Rolex’s 2025 Oyster Perpetual collection introduces three elegant pastel dials- lavender on the 28mm, beige on the 36mm, and pistachio green on the 41mm. These softer, matte-finished colours offer a fresh new look and charm compared to previous releases.

The Oyster Perpetual 41 features a subtly redesigned case and a slimmer Oysterclasp for better comfort. With a refined colour palette, Rolex refreshes the classic Oyster Perpetual line, proving that subtlety and simplicity can make a powerful statement.

6. The New ‘Tiffany’ Daytona

Rolex has previously released popular versions of its Daytona model, with the latest addition featuring a stunning turquoise dial that is a step away from the familiar "ice blue" typically associated with platinum pieces. Instead, this vibrant shade recalls the signature blue of a certain well-known jeweller.. While not entirely new to Rolex, this hue first gained attention in 2020 when the brand released an Oyster Perpetual with a Tiffany-inspired tone that quickly became a collector's favourite.

Water-resistant to 100 meters, it also features a screw-down crown and screwed pushers for added durability. 7. Rolex Datejust 31 With Red Ombre Dial

The Rolex 2025 catalogue closes with a new addition: the Oyster Perpetual Datejust 31 in 18 ct yellow gold, now featuring a red ombré dial. This new dial is further accentuated by diamond hour markers and a brilliant-cut diamond-set bezel.

The watch is paired with a classic President bracelet, known for its three-piece links in solid gold and a concealed Crownclasp offering elegance and comfort.
